that system is impossible to implement in LA. first, LA has gates. you may be able to finish the first gate but got jailed to 2nd. second, LA raids are so hard. with the coming of thaemine and echidna it become extremely harder for casual. third, are the carry-mentality and bots are present in LA

Lost Ark is definateley killed with the latest LOA ON 2024, unfortunately nothing else to play in MMORPG genre but at least it's summer so gaming off mode for me :)

I enjoy healing as Sage, Astro and White Mage and people saying you don't need a healer don't understand that those people who didn't need healers in the demo are in the top players. I hate bad healers tho when I play dps or tank.

Bring as many updates to this game as you want, don't you see that the game will die like this? Currently T4, engraving, etc etc etc. PROBLEM IS HOMEWORK! The player, who has to do chaos dungeons every day and 18 legion raids every week, can't stand it anymore.

I quit healing in ShB cause it just got so BORING. And now it's getting even more boring. Back in Stormblood, we didn't even have insta queue as healers, it was the tanks that nobody wanted to play. Having more to do is fun. If all you have to do is mostly spamming 1 button, it's easy to zone out and since healing is so boring, it also attracts players that enjoys the 111121111 playstyle. Healers were more engaging in SB, and it was a nice middle ground for casuals and veterans/hardcore alike. There will always be less healers than DPS, just cause of how most people prefers playing DPS, but it wasn't always THIS bad.

This is how I felt when I played lost ark, the more I played it the more I missed FF14. Everything in FF14 is superior to Lost Ark other than combat.

I think LA right now is a good for new players because you can do raids solo so you dont really get time gate until a bit later. but sadly it will still be time gating, and because of solo raids, it will be less support players above 1600

But why the hell would they want to even make or publish this. They have Lost Ark mobile planned so why would they want to compete with their own game unless they are going for diablo immortal market share.

Funny how these raids are harder than Lost ark and with constant wipes, and people manage to still remain calm and not quit insta.

good thing about ff14 is casual no need to play these hardcore raids in order to enjoy the story and other contents to the end game. and there is no significant progression reward behind these hardcore raids too.

If you are leaving Lost Ark for real, just quit, show a video where you dismantle all your gear and stop whining about it; instead you are just trying to gain viewers while you cope with your own inability to help make the game better. You are the kind of player Lost Ark doesnt need.

I was hyped for the LOA ON, but yeah, I see the situation in a similar way. Solo raids are like story dungeons: they'll be easy and not very exciting. They'll be useful only for getting a little gold, so you won't get stuck due to lack of gold needed for upgrading your items. The process will be slow as hell, but at least you won't be completely stuck if you can't get into raids. From my perspective, almost every system has a "new level," so you'll need to keep doing the same things as now if you don't want to be gatekept. Alternatively, you could just accept that you'll need to do story dungeons for slow progression (not worth it; wait for the mokoko events, and after a few months, you'll get everything for free within 1-2 hours). I already quit the game a year ago, and this won't charm me back. Many people will try it, but after 1-2 months, everything will be the same as now.
